July Fun

This summer has been so fun so far! Stella loves to be outside and Mommy likes to get out too :) We've spent days swinging, having play dates with Bethany and Haven, lunch with friends and so much more. It just keeps getting better and better!

Thankfully, Mimi and PaPaw have a big tree outside where Stella could hang her swing! We love summertime! Stella loves her new activity table. Michael left out of the room with her sitting up playing, and came back in to find her like this! I guess we know she can pull up on her own now!

Here they are again, with new skills and fun tricks for all to see! They are too cute!

Jumping Bean

Stella's little legs are getting stronger and stronger. Her favorite thing to do sometimes is jump as hard as she can in the excersaucer. She'll take a few breaks, and then go right to it again. She's also started sleeping on her stomach lately. She went from her back, to her side, and now to her stomach. I've also caught her on her knees a couple of times, rocking back and forth! I love her big personality and the little faces she makes. More to come...

Happy 4th!

Happy fourth of July! Every year, we go to my Grandma Nixon's lake place for a family cookout. We missed having Grandma around this year...we know she would have enjoyed seeing all the new babies, and the fireworks too. The weather was great and surprisingly enough, it didn't rain! Stella was her silly self, laughing and playing with all her cousins. Considering she hadn't had longer than a few 45 minute naps all day, she did really well. Around 9:00, when the fireworks started, she let us know she had about enough. Although it was so late, she still laughed and giggled all the way home.

Stella got to meet the newest part of the family...Tyler James Sigmon. Tyler is 9 weeks, and already seems like such a big boy!

Happy 7 Months!

Happy 7 Months Stella! In the past month, Stella has shown even more of her personality. She wakes up in the morning, blowing raspberries, with a smile of her face. She gets so excited at so many different things. For example, she loves to watch our dog, Daisy. She flaps her arms and blows, and sometimes laughs out loud as Daisy runs in circles. She has also started grasping Puffs, a small finger food, and bringing them to her mouth. Yay! We've also noticed that once she is tucked into bed at night, she sometimes rolls over to her side to sleep. It's almost like she knows where she is now. As we walk out to Mom's, she automatically looks over to see Daisy, or when we pass by a mirror in the house, she knows where to look! I think she knows this is home. :)

Haven and Beth came over for a play date on Stella's 7 month birthday! Watching these girls interact is so fun. They each have their own sweet little personality. So fun!
