It seems like I just wrote about his 4 month birthday...now, he's already 5 months! Things are getting fun around here...Sawyer laughs all the time and only gets upset when he's sleepy or really hungry. He plays in his excer-saucer everyday and is almost sitting up, not quite...but we're getting there! He's rolled over a few more times and lifts his head really well while on his tummy. He reaches and grasps anything and everything within reach and then brings whatever it may be, to his mouth. He is so fun and I think he might be the sweetest little boy on the planet.

uh-oh
I heard a lot of sneaky laughing while I was in the kitchen and this is what I walked in and found...Stella had climbed in Sawyer's crib!!!! See that look....am I suppose to smile, or am I in trouble?

growing big, growing smart
Stella and Sawyer are growing fast. She has been potty-trained for almost 10 months now, and the other day she got on the potty by herself, wiped, got off, and pulled he shorts up! WOW! I'm so proud of her! She has now learned to count backwards from 10...read at the bottom to find out how! Sawyer rolled over for the first time and is cooing and gurgling all the time, between smiles, and I even saw hair on his toes today! haha! :)
Here are some pictures from this past week.
Stella holding little, well big, brother :) Almost everyday after nap, she asks to hold him...I think she must miss him when she's sleeping.
Baby Jovie and Sawyer taking a snooze...
Stella and Haven riding in the wagon...those are 2 sweet girls, for sure!
While Stella, Papa, and I were outside swinging last weekend, we told her to countdown from 10 and then we were going inside...and she did! I had no clue she could do this...then, I heard it on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and figured it out!

my newest thing
Since I've had Sawyer, life has gotten really busy...busier than it was before...how could that be? But, in the middle of all the hustle, I've started another blog...what am I thinking? It's called "my teaching fix" and that is exactly what it is...since I'm no longer in the classroom, I'm posting ideas, learning stuff and advice through the web. I'd like for it to be a place where I can learn from you too, then share your ideas as well. So, please click on the "follow" button on the right side of the blog. I love having your support! Thanks so much!! :) Click here to see the new blog :)
