Easter fun part three!

We started our final weekend of Easter fun at Aunt Frances' church for one last round with the Easter bunny. Stella wasn't too sure about this one...but she was still excited. We got our faces painted too, although Sawyer's was rubbed off within 3 minutes...oh well! Here's Stella Easter morning with her trumpet from the Easter bunny...and yes, it actually plays! :)

Off to church we go to celebrate our risen Savior! My family of four :)

After church we headed to China Grove for lunch with the family. Here's all the cousins present...

and more cousins...

Stella and Mimi looking through all the Easter eggs!

and last but not least....my little Easter bunnies :)

We hope your Easter was as fun as ours!

Easter fun Part Two

Another round of Easter fun has come and gone! We are looking forward to more activities this weekend! Here's Sawyer doing some tummy time...nothing to do with Easter, but how could I not post this sweet picture? :)
This past weekend we dyed Easter eggs! Stella had a blast and wanted more, of course!

Being very gentle...

Our final outcome :)

Next up was our first annual Easter egg hunt at Holly's house. We had a yummy snack, made a cute craft and hunted for eggs! We love spending time with friends!

I think she had her tongue stuck out in this picture...pure excitement :)

Happy girl with her eggs!

Easter fun part one

We've been playing with Easter eggs around our house for several weeks now but today it really felt like Easter when we went to have breakfast with the Easter Bunny! Stella was really excited to see him and even more thrilled to sit on his lap. She actually sat on his lap twice and wanted to give him a bye hug as well. After having our picture with the Easter bunny, we went to make a cross to place in our yard as a reminder that Jesus is Alive! Sawyer celebrated at home with Daddy :)

Movie Night and more...

What Cheetos?

Cowboy Sawyer :)

Since last night was a little chilly, and we missed the outdoors...we decided to have movie night. We realized we don't have ANY kid movies on DVD except for Charlotte's Web...one of my faves. Surprisingly Stella watched the whole thing and loved her introduction to popcorn! Sawyer lasted for a little while :)

She may have been asking where the piggie was...

After she got up this morning, she came in the den and said, "Where's movie night and popcorn?"
