where did September go?

I can't believe September is almost over... here are a few pics I grabbed from my phone today to get on the computer...

Sawyer and I started working on letters since Stella is in school.  His little light bulb is finally coming on- I love it.  He couldn't get "S" until I drew the smiley faces and told him where to go.  Here are his first 2.

Janelle and I celebrated our September b-days.  So glad we have this tradition in the midst of busy lives.

We had so much fun at Kinsley's B-day party at Lewis Farm.  The kids got to ride a horse, paint a horse, play, go on a hayride and even see Elsa!

Holly took me for lunch on my birthday.  It was such a busy day, but so thankful for long friendships that have literally been a part of my whole life.

The first of something new...

The day finally arrived.  We counted down, we made a prayer book with her  new teacher's name in it, we went shopping (something I always remembered doing with Mom growing up that I LOVED!), and then the day finally came....her first day of school.  She was so excited... :)

The year is off to a great start,  but now I realize how fast time goes by. I'm not happy about that. We look forward to the weekends and being together.  So thankful for great teachers and staff who made us feel welcome. :)
