Giggle.com

So, I've been trying to be a better person with the whole "green" living. I've tried making my own cleaning products, although, at the moment I still prefer Srub'n'Bubbles...
Here is a site Jenny H told me about during our chat the other day that I checked out and thought I would share. It has reports on every toy you could think of that may be hazardous with lead or other toxic products that we don't want around our children. I know too much of this stuff can get me paranoid, so I try not to read too much in one setting, but knowledge is a good thing. There's also a blog with lots of info too. Check the site out here.

What's Happening?

As you all know, we are 3 months pregnant. I went today for my doctor's visit and found a great magazine with great pictures of the baby each month. Here's what's happening now:

- the skin is transparent

- internal parts are present

- kidneys are working and producing urine

- external parts are taking shape

- lips on the mouth can already open and close

- eyes are starting to take o ntheir lifelong color

- nerve cells communicate with every part of the body

....and the list goes on....

I love it...amazing...

Thank You for....

Lately Stella has been chiming in on her night time prayers...
This is what it's sounded like the past several nights;
Mommy: Thank you Jesus, for today....what do you want to thank Jesus for?
Stella: Daddy
Mommy: Thank you Jesus for Daddy
Stella: Ne (Nena)
Mommy: Thank you Jesus for Nena

(She went on to thank Jesus for Mimi, Mack, Maw, Paw, Pa-Pa,)

Mommy: Anything else?
Stella: Trucks
Mommy: Thank you Jesus for trucks
Stella: Apples
Mommy: Thank you Jesus for apples
Amen :)

Happy Birthday America!

We celebrated our fourth of July, first by going to church, then, relaxing and spending time with family and friends. I love this picture of Stella and Michael... she looks like such a big girl!!!
At the lake with the cousins, Sarah and Abbey. Can you tell Stella is having fun? What a big smile! I love it!

A little game or two :)

19 months and growing...

Summertime is going by and we are trying to enjoy every part...still some things on the to-do list to complete, but we'll get there. Thursday we went to Wendy's for a cookout and saw our little friends. Stella was doing the motions to the song...and I think they all were just as soon as I put my camera away! Stella playing in Mommy's sprinkles...note to self: always seal bags tightly!!!!

For Stella's 19 month b-day, we took a trip to Target and let her pick out a baby doll of her choice. She picked up a few and after I showed her this one, she held on to it. Her face even moves when she sucks on her bottle. So funny! Birthday and Christmas are going to be a lot of fun this year!

Some of Stella's milestones are as follows:

~completes 9 piece shape puzzles independently and sometimes names the colors/shapes

~knows orange, blue, yellow, red, purple, peach, black and orange almost every time

~randomly counts to 8...but she likes to skip 3 now...so funny to hear her little voice saying numbers and colors

~helps me out by saying yes or no to simple questions

~loves to play with Daisy

~hates it when I put her hair in pigtails, but it's oh so cute to mommy :)

~lately, she likes to go barefoot outside...I guess it's all a part of summertime :)

~testing us with little tantrums...hmmm...this is going to be fun
~takes an hour and half nap to 2 hour nap each day... thank you sweet Stella !!

~continues to love love love books...her first love besides Mommy and Daddy :)

...and for the biggest milestone yet...Stella's gonna be a big sister!
Baby Bradley #2 on the way!
