8 Month B-day :)

My little Sawyer is 8 months already! Here's a list of tricks and favorite things:

-he gets really excited about puffs and when Daddy comes home :)

-he eats a fruit and veggie everyday, and ate his first "real" soft apple today

-he smiles and laughs at Stella all the time

-waves "bye-bye"

-gurgles and babbles a lot "da-da-da, babbab" "la-de-do-" :)

-tries to pull up on anyone who is close by

-lunges into a crawling position..but not crawling yet...just scooting :)

Here's a picture of Stella a little over 8 months...she had a few more rolls than Sawyer...believe it not! :)

little Michael

Sawyer wore his Polo shirt to church Sunday and I couldn't wait to get his picture...actually Michael beat me to the camera that morning... this is Michael Bradley's son, for sure! :)

my weekend

Michael, Sawyer and I headed to the Highlands, NC to deliver something we've been planning and working on for a while. Stella stayed with Mimi (my mom) and had a blast, of course! Click here to go to my Sweet Stella Treats page to read more about this special project.

update on life...

Things have been busy around our house lately...mostly with everyday life, and then add a batch of 500 cake pops to the list of things to do... whew! Last night, the parents took me out for an early birthday dinner at Firebirds. It was yummy and the kids were great. :) Here's Stella doing her dance to a certain song from Sawyer's toy...she closes her eyes, smiles and sways back and forth...it never gets old!

7 months

Sawyer is 7 months, and going strong! He weighed 20 lbs at his 6 month check-up and I think he's gained at last a pound since then...I can no longer carry him in the car seat anymore...unless I want to permanently damage my right arm. ;)
Some of his favorite things are watching Stella entertain him, squealing, and eating puffs. He eats a fruit and a veggie everyday...one for breakfast and one for supper. He still doesn't do a lot of moving around when he's on his tummy...just scooting. :) He likes to put anything he can in his mouth. He is the sweetest little thing ever.
