catching up

Here are a few catching up pics from this month. Stella helped me sew her sweet little tooth pillow.  I think she was more excited about doing this than what would be put in it that night :)

 Some more pics from July 4th.  Yes, I can't believe I actually swam in the lake again...it's been years... Not knowing what is floating under my feet, or swimming around my feet always freaks me out...but I have kids, so I had to.

Stella and Sawyer also took swim lessons with Ms. Kathy.  They did such an amazing job...mainly because she was an amazing teacher.  Stella actually learned several skills and even jumped off the high dive and made it to the edge.  Sawyer learned some basic skills like paddling, and climbing out of the pool the correct way, and getting the courage to jump in on his own.  Overall, it was great.  We look forward to next year!

a little of July...

Stella had a loose tooth for quite a while...last week, she finally tugged at it hard enough for it to come out. We made her a tooth pillow...she insisted on helping me "sew".   I love making memories with this sweet girl.

We finally made our way back to the "tree park".  They loved climbing those trees.

 For July 4th- we decorated Stella's bike and Sawyer's four wheeler and rode in the Westport community parade.

We've got some big plans for next years wheels...

Dan Nicholas Park

I've heard a lot about this park from several people but we've never made it a point to go until last week.  We went with the Andler's and McSwain bunch.  It was a perfect day with just enough activities for the kids.

I think this picture depicts perfectly how life is with all these sweet kids.  I'm trying to take the picture...Holly is ready and smiling, Bethany is looking down..? .... Sawyer isn't sure whats going on, and Haven is possibly trying to get Jovie's attention on the other end.  Oh, and Stella is having the time of her life feeding Jensen ice cream.  :) :) :)

By the end of the day...we were hot and tired and so was my car, apparently.  Sawyer left the lights on and my battery went d.e.a.d.  Thankfully I have reliable friends who came to the rescue.  Girl Power!
