Pigeon Forge, TN

A few weeks back we headed to the mountains for the weekend.  It...rained...all...weekend...

We made the best of it and did some fun indoor activities.  The Dixie Stampede was just as good as I remembered it from at least 10 years ago. The kids loved every minute.

We found an Elvis Museum but only made it through the lobby because there was no way we were playing $40 a person to see more haha :)

Go Karts were so fun. We didn't stop smiling the whole time!!!!

why does she look 9 here to me?

We went to a really cool place called WonderWorks.  I would def recommend if it's raining :)  It had a climbing wall, laser tag, Bubble Lab and lots of other neat areas to explore.

sports

Stella wanted to do gymnastics again this year.  I'm glad she enjoys this so much. Her first few weeks of class was with one of her favorites, Zoe.

She's also playing soccer for a few more weeks. She's enjoyed the game and not feeling the pressure to "win".  Its been fun to watch. The first game she was like this...messing with her sleeves.  The next game, we tied them up with ribbon.  I wonder where she gets this from...

I found her like this one Saturday morning:) Thankful for no alarm clocks.

a little more of September

These two are getting so big.  Sawyer picks out what he wears every Sunday...for a while now, and I love it all.

Stella had her Fun Run at school and took it very seriously. She finished 39 laps :)

We went to The Murray Mill Festival in the rain...but we still got to hear The Cockman Family and tour the old mill.

The kids always look forward to making something with the boy scouts. Sawyer got a crate for his stuffed animals to sleep in and Stella made a stool.

Sawyer is getting more focused with his drawings lately and I enjoy seeing how he interprets things differently than Stella. Personally, the tree branches are my favorite. He said, that blue wasn't the sky...it was a really big blue bird. haha  He asked sissy to draw an owl in the tree and the two of them inside the window. :)

Stella had her first project on Community Helpers.  She loved putting this together.  I did too :)
