Let it Snow, Let it Snow!

I'm not always excited when it snows...Michael has to work all day and sometimes all night! Today, he came home for lunch and promised me that we would go out and play. We managed to get a snowman built in between phone calls and emails on his phone..."talking work stuff". We tried to sled but nothing would work really well. Maybe after it freezes over a little more! :) I love that Daisy's in the photo too! :)

Stella loved riding in the laundry basket! She was pulled around for at least 30 minutes! She would have had her mittens on, but I couldn't find one of them, so later, she wore socks to keep her hands warm!

Daddy and Stella having a talk with Frosty...we've read so much about you! :)

Don't forget about the cupcakes!! :)

Before and After

Since Stella has gotten more toys,we decided to make our extra room a playroom...until baby 2 comes along, that is! Then, all of the toys will go to their permanent place...upstairs!

This is what it looked like before...
and after...

YAY for organization! :)

We love the Sunshine...and cleaning!

Wow... Hooray for the weather we've had the past several days! I forgot how much we loved being outside...fresh air! The only fresh air we get these days is going in and out of Wal-Mart! :) We went for our first trip to the park today and had lots of fun. At first Stella wasn't so sure about walking on the mulch...I guess it felt too unstable. But, after a while, she wasn't bothered at all, but instead wanted to check all the other kids out...and the dogs, that I wouldn't let her pet. She doesn't seem like a little baby anymore...especially sliding down the slide on her own!!
Look at all those teeth. She now has 14, and the 15th is coming through. The sweetest face ever!

Getting ready to go down the slide!! What a big girl!
She actually went down on her own several times....Yay Stella!!!

Yesterday we got out the riding toys. Stella had a ball! I know she'll enjoy it even more once she learns how to go on her own! My back will enjoy that too :)

Michael always rides Stella in the laundry basket...her favorite thing to do these days.

Stella helping Daddy with the "sash" (trash)...she especially likes the boxes.
Stella likes to put underwear on her head and laugh about it...so funny!

My Little Ballerina

Stella amazes me with her coordination and balance at only a year old. Seeing her walk at such a fast pace is almost normal for us now. She has started dancing with her toys and sometimes things that aren't toys, like the phone...anything, really! She changes the direction that she twirls instantly too! My little ballerina! :)
