Snow Day #2

What a difference the sun makes!!  Stella was serious about rolling snow balls...she was actually pretty good :)

Sawyer just wanted to roll in it..so funny :)

The remains from our snowman from the day before made a great hill for Sawyer to "do tricks".

Stella wrote Frozen in the snow!

Sawyer said he wanted a dirt bike...I did my best :)

Stella's Olaf... :)

Inside to thaw out and drink hot chocolate!

We miss Daddy on these snow days, but are thankful he got home safe and warm!
...now we're ready for Spring :)

snow day #1

I think Elsa set off an eternal winter because Denver was in deep, deep, deep, deep snow. :)

Rocking their toboggans Carolyn made for them...they love them!

The blizzard began so we got busy making valentine's for everybody...they loved the glitter :)

You wouldn't believe how hard it was to get them to stand still long enough for me to take a picture...probably should've attempted it before the 2 hour art session.

first ever snow cream...Sawyer was a big fan, Stella not so much...

We tried 2 different "Snow Clay" recipes and now I remember why I HATE making my own play dough...it NEVER works!!!! If you have a recipe you love, please share!  So, we made play snow instead...Sawyer had a ball.

The snow kept coming...so we ventured out...I cannot believe how much snow fell.

So thankful for camera's because just within one day the scenery had changed.

Anna, Elsa and Olaf...we couldn't find Elsa's wig, so she had to wear a sunhat instead :)

Mimi and her snowball fights- she got me in the eyebrow!

More from the eternal winter later...

a few days...months late

I was getting pictures off of my old camera and came across these that I never posted.  Michael's Mom has been doing Christmas trees for years now, and each year they get easier and quicker.  Our Christmas starts in early November and earlier than that for her, with all the planning and shopping for materials and decorations.  Here are a few pics from this past year.

Vicki putting on the final branches of one of the 20 foot trees at Whitehall.

The ornaments are unpacked and sorted out by color...

Marilyn working on the wreaths to be hung outside on the buildings...

Michael and Andrew working their magic outside.

the team of ladies :)

Thank you Marilyn for letting us be a part of something so beautiful :)
