Appleseed

Here's the man I've been hearing about for the past several days...just out of the blue our conversations sound like this:

Stella: "man...appleseed..."
Me: "I know, we saw Johnny Appleseed on our field trip."
Stella: " funny hair"
Me: "yea, he had a funny hat on, didn't he?"
Stella: "clap...sing...hayride"
Me: "I know, he was clapping and singing, and we went on a hayride!"
Stella: "man...appleseed"

and it starts all over again...

We had a great time with our little group of friends. Hopefully the pumpkin patch won't be as hot :)

Family Time

This weekend was all about family. Lately our Saturdays have consisted of Michael and I doing house chores or fulfilling cupcake orders...which I'm grateful for, by the way! But this Saturday we took a trip to Zootastic Park, and had so much fun. We talked about our field trip all morning... Stella kept asking about the "a-mals". Translation: animals

We also had our Labor Day cookout at the lake. The weather was perfect for both occasions.

This stage is so fun. We're looking foward to the cooler weather so we can plan more fun stuff outside.
