I can't believe my older brother is finally married...not that we were rushing him along, but I'm happy that he's happy!  He and Emily decided to get married in Mom's front yard on the porch.  Just a few family and friends attended the special day. The weather couldn't have been more prefect.

Things are getting back to normal around here in our computer world! I'm way behind, so here's a few pics from August :)

 She's really been into coloring a lot lately.  From scribbles, to everything one color, to actually paying attention to detail.  I love all the little stages...

Campmeeting seems like it happened months ago, but it was only a few short weeks back.  Better late than never, I guess :)

Y'all, this week has been...well, as my friend Jenna says....crazy!  We finally got a computer and things are up and running, but I haven't had a chance to put any pictures on it and we don't have our files back to us yet...I feel like my left leg is missing! I promise I will never neglect this blog as I have done the past several weeks ever again. :)   I know, it's not that devastating, but I've missed hearing from my friends and updating our little world.  Please check back soon for what we've been up to....

For those of you who didn't know, my brother, Chris is planning to get married soon to his love, Emily.  My aunts and cousins gave her a shower at my house this past weekend.  Here are the beautiful flowers out of aunt Catherine's garden.  I was the lucky one that got to keep them :)  The food was WONDERFUL...ham and swiss cheese biscuits, fresh fruit with homemade dip, that I've been a little obsessed with this week...sausage balls, and more!

catching up

It's been almost 2 weeks since our computer has been in the shop and I feel like I've lost a leg!  Thankfully, my phone has Internet, so I've been able to "somewhat" keep up with everything.  So, I put my pictures on Michael's laptop from work.  I didn't realize how much I enjoyed blogging until I was unable to do it!

A few weeks back, we headed to Carowinds after naps.  Here's Stella on her favorite horse, Penelope.  She even asked about it on the way...I completely forgot about it, to be honest.  She wanted her picture taken :)

 Sawyer wasn't a fan of the horses, so we saw down for the ride instead :)

 Mom and Sawyer riding the balloons....FYI: Linda Nixon does NOT do rides!  I just about lost all control laughing so hard on this ride.  For a "kid ride" it was pretty fast and high off the ground.  I'm still laughing about this one. :)
