6 months, already

It's hard to believe...really, that Sawyer is already 6 months. I feel like I get the number stickers out every other week to take his picture! He is growing so fast, and he's such a joy. He's eating baby food now when we eat our supper...his favorite so fa,r is carrots. He laughs all throughout the day while we are playing or as Stella entertains him. He's also sitting up unassisted these days too.

I could squeeze him all day...really, I could.

around here...

We've had a few firsts this week around our house. Here's Stella eating her first corn on the cob. She wasn't too sure about it, but she kept asking for more, so that was a good sign :)

Stella and Daddy went on their first "date" while I was away one evening. She picked out her dress and was so excited. When I got back home, it was so fun hearing her tell me about their night...I think she was glad to get a break from Mommy too :)

Sawyer had a first this week as well...his introduction to rice cereal! He has been waking up at night, after sleeping all night, so I decided it might be time for something a little more than just milk. I think he's teething, too, so I'm sure that has something to do with all the waking up! Here he is, all excited to be in the pink bumbo seat, ready to eat!

and.....after! Not real sure what just happened...I think we'll try again tonight. At least he only woke up once last night...not too positive that one spoonful of rice cereal filled his tummy that much! oh well...

my little climber...not sure why my voice goes from really low at the beginning of the video, to really high..I think I may have been eating something...oh well..weird. :)

Lately...

How cute is this little smile? He is such a boy! Sawyer s starting to sit up on his own a little...just long enough for me to snap a picture! (not real sure why Stella's hair is parted down the middle..haha ;)

We celebrated the fourth with lots of fun activities this year. We watched fireworks with friends, spent time with family and even got our face painted!

CHOO CHOO!!!!

We couldn't have asked for a better day at Tweetsie Railroad. Everything about our day seemed perfect..from the weather, to the number of visitors, it was such a wonderful day. Sawyer loved riding the train...not that he knew what was happening, but I think he enjoyed the jiggle motion :) Stella was brave and rode every ride we let her...the Ferris wheel was her favorite, I think. Michael said she laughed the whole time. I, on the other hand, was glad Daddy was there to sit by her. :)
