As you can see, I've added a new element to my page concerning March of Dimes. For a little background info...I became involved in March of Dimes when I was a junior in high school. At the time, I didn't know of any babies who were born premature...but, since I was involved in Early Childhood Education...I had a passion for doing what I could to help...so I walked for babies.
After graduating high school, I majored in Child and Family Development. It wasn't until then, I realized how awesome and critical the journey from conception to birth can be. Now, I've not only studied and read about premature babies, but I've experienced a fraction of what my close friends felt as they looked at their new baby with tubes and machines all around them...as they fought for life.
The money raised for March of Dimes supports programs that help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies. It also helps to fund research to find answers to the problems that threaten our babies.
If you would like to donate, simply go to my personal page or click on "sponsor me" to the right, then follow the simple steps...or contact me with the amount you would like to pledge. Thank you for your support! The walk this year is April 24th.
Addie, Emma and Haven are my inspiration this year.
Here are some of their pictures while in the NICU.
Thank you Jesus, for all you have done for these special babies. We know you were holding them each step of the way.
